Cormick Steven Lorne Wheeler

It is with immense sadness that we share with you the passing of our amazing son and brother.

Cormick Steven Lorne Wheeler passed away on Thursday, July 19, 2018 at the age of 17.

He was loved and adored by many and will be greatly missed. He had a love for any adventure and music. He was the Bass player in the local band “Flywheel” and loved his bandmates like brothers. Cormick and his Dad had great plans for this summer/fall to restore a 1985 Nissan 300 ZX Turbo. They both took pride in knowing that Cormick could strut his stuff when this car was restored.

Cormick was a practical joker and supreme kid at heart. He brought joy, laughter, and happiness to our lives and we will remember the fantastic memories we have and will cherish them for all eternity.

Cormick will be remembered fondly by his parents; Steve & Kelly Wheeler and sister Larissa Wheeler. Grandparents; David & Sylvia Wheeler and Paul & Sue Robinson. Aunts and Uncles; Bob Wheeler & Sue Taylor, Craig & Angie Wheeler. Todd Robinson & Kate Loghrin, Blake & Michelle Robinson, Cousins; Connor, Braydon, Ty and Maeve Wheeler. Dylan, Cody, Jillian and Zackary Robinson. Also remembered fondly by many friends and classmates.

The family would like to say a HUGE thank you to the entire Granton Volunteer Fire Department, Huron-Perth EMS, OPP, all the Emergency Nurses at St. Marys Memorial Hospital and Dr. Mayer. Your professionalism, support, and courtesy during this time will not be forgotten.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that donations can be made “in memory of Cormick Wheeler” to the Canadian Diabetes Association, the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of one's choice.

A private family funeral will take place on Wednesday July 25, 2018 with a Celebration of Life (dress casual) to follow the same day at the KIRKTON-WOODHAM COMMUNITY CENTRE, 70497 Rd 164, Kirkton, from 3:00pm to 7:00pm. A dedication to Cormick will be at 5:00pm.
