Sandy was born and raised on a small farm south of St Marys. She moved to Bryon and then Chatham before returning to St. Marys as a young woman. Sandy spent most of her life in St. Marys. She was a friendly, happy, and an outspoken person who knew almost everyone in St. Marys. She loved to host parties at her place inviting all her friends and family. She frequented most of the restaurants and coffee shops in town. She always let you know that she saw you and wanted to say hi. She volunteered her time at church and other charitable organizations. She always enjoyed her work. One of her true enjoyments was her music which she would listen to for hours. Her most favorite song was singing “A long way to Tipperary”.
Friends will be received at the St. Marys Friendship Centre, 317 James St. South St. Marys, on Saturday December 16, 2017, for visitation from 10:00-11:00 a.m. A celebration of Sandy’s Life will be held at 11:00 a.m.
