Stephen “Papa Steve” James Drouillard

Stephen “Papa Steve” James Drouillard, passed away at St. Marys Memorial Hospital, with his family at his side, on Dec. 23, 2017 at the age of 81.

Steve was a Signal Supervisor with CNR for almost 40 years and member of the St. Marys ANAF Unit 265.

Survived by his common law wife Peggy Cook, daughter Kim and her husband John Clifford, granddaughters Shannon (Pete Rooney), Michelle (Kevin Sholdice), Kerri Clifford (Steph Audet), great-grandchildren Jayden, Zachary and Kyler Rooney, Alton and Paxton Sholdice, and Dante Audet. He will be missed by David Schultz (Jane), Curtis Stickney (Karen), grand-daughters Paige, Monica and Leah. Siblings Marilyn Forrester (Steve), Paul Drouillard, Pat Philip, and Hazel (Nelson Mills). Also remembered by several nieces, nephews and “adopted” grandchildren.

Predeceased by his son Scott and his brother Russell.

On Thursday, Dec 28, at the Andrew L. Hodges Funeral Home, 47 Wellington St. S. St. Marys (519-284-2820) the St. Marys ANAF Unit 265 will conduct a service at 6:45 p.m. Visitation will follow at 7 – 9 p.m. and then again at the ST. MARYS UNITED CHURCH, 85 Church St. S., St. Marys, on Friday, Dec. 29, from 11 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Service at 1 p.m. with Rev. Christopher Fickling officiating.

Cremation to follow with interment in St. Marys Cemetery in the spring. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the St. Marys Memorial Hospital Foundation.
