Kathleen Joan James-Doupe

Kathleen Joan James-Doupe, of London and formerly of St. Marys, passed away at her home in London on September 26, 2016 at the age of 73. Loving wife of Thomas James who predeceased her in 2005. Born in St. Marys, she was the daughter of the late Quinton & Kathleen King of Medina. Dear Mother of Lynda (Todd) Wilson of Elmira, Travers of St. Marys and Grandmother of Lydia, Amilya and Zain Wilson, Alexandria and Riley James. Step-mother of Eleanor Maine, Cindy Thomas (Wilf), 6 step-grandchildren and 8 step-great-grandchildren all of London. Surviving is her husband Harold Doupe of London. Also survived by brother and sisters, Noreen Switzer of Medina, Doris Pearson of St. Marys, Darlene (Gordon) Smith of Uniondale, Sharon (Clive) Drown of St. Marys, Chris (Joanne) King of St. Marys, Laurie (Glen) Lang of Port Dover, Sherry (Al) Thodt of Port Dover. Brother-in-law Nat (Pearl) James of Wellington. Missed by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her sisters Shirley King and Marlyn Fleming, brothers Glenn and Richard King, brothers-in-law Jerry Switzer, Ralph Pearson, Bill Fleming and Alan James. Kathy spent her life in St. Marys, and retired as Security Guard at Dana in 2009.

Visitation at the Andrew L. Hodges Funeral Home on Thursday, Sept. 29, from 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be conducted at the funeral home on Friday, Sept. 30, at 1 p.m. with Rev. Sandra Bendall of Browns United Church officiating.

Interment in St. Marys Cemetery. Reception at the Army, Navy & Air Force Veterans Club, 23 Wellington St. N., St. Marys
