The St. Marys & Area Memorial Forest at the Wildwood Conservation Area began in 2009. It was created by the Upper Thames Conservation Authority, the St. Marys Ministerial Group and the Andrew L. Hodges Funeral Home to improve the local environment by reforestation and to create a lasting public memorial.

The site is located at the end of Line 13, along the watershed. Each spring, white spruce trees are planted to represent those commemorated through the Andrew L. Hodges Funeral Home.

For those wishing to have trees planted in memory of loved ones who did not have funerals through the Hodges Funeral Home, they can be purchased by contacting the funeral home and then mailing in a cheque (Hodges Funeral Home P.O. Box 304, St. Marys, N4X 1B2) for $50 -made out to Memorial Forest.-
