Memorial Tree Program at Wildwood

The Memorial Forest Program has been established in partnership with the Upper Thames River Conservation Authority, St. Marys Ministerial Association and local funeral homes to give anyone the opportunity to have a tree planted in memory of a loved one.

The Memorial Forest is located on a 19 acre parcel of land at the Wildwood Conservation Area, at the southeast corner of Line 16 and Line 9 in Perth South Township.

The type of tree selected for the site is the white spruce with the starting height at 18 to 24 inches.

How to purchase a tree:

This can be arranged through the Andrew L. Hodges Funeral Home or through your funeral home of choice.

Any funeral home that wishes to obtain tree order forms can email Andrew Hodges at andrew@hodgesfuneralhome.ca.

The cost of a tree is $50
(make cheque payable to "Memorial Forest")

A dedication service at the Wildwood Conservation Area will be held each September. Those who purchased a tree that was planted during the previous spring will be invited to attend. Invitations for the dedication service will be mailed out at the end of July.
