HOW TO SEND AN ONLINE CONDOLENCE

We understand that it is not always possible to attend to the funeral home and pay your respects to the deceased or their surviving families. Our on-line condolences feature allows you to let the family know you are with them in thought, and to have the opportunity to share those feelings and special thoughts about the deceased with the family.

Below is a step-by-step guide to sending your condolence.

Step 1. Select the Online Tribute Funeral Record to whom you wish to send a condolence. The Book of memories title page will appear. At the bottom of the page, click on
Open the Book
.

Step 2. Select "Messages' from the menu selection on the left.

Step 3: Click Send Condolences Button The Condolences page will load displaying all condolences that have been left by other individuals. At the top of the screen there are three buttons to choose from. To leave a condolence you need to click on â€Å“Send a Condolence.

Also your condolence will be sent to the Funeral Home by email for review and if the family has opted to be emailed condolences they will receive them each day at either 9am or 9pm depending on your time of submission.

  2. Before you can view your condolence, we kindly ask that you provide any feedback or comments to our company. We pride ourselves as being leaders in our community and look forward to your feedback.

  3. Click on Send Comments/Continue once completed. These comments are sent to the Funeral Home and only viewed by them. Please make sure that you are not typing in a condolence message in the comments box. The families will not receive them if you do.

Please Note: If you provide an email address, either private or public, you will automatically receive an email notification one year less seven days of the anniversary of the death. This reminder is intended to be used to help with families that may be having a difficult time and having a number of people think of that person during that time can be very helpful.

Step 7  Modify Your Condolence

Many times people who leave a condolence may require a change to their condolence because they left some one out, or needed to make a change at a later time. There are times when you wrote a message and feel that it would be more appropriate in the eyes of the family only. Now you can make your own changes with out contacting the Funeral Home.
