What to do when death occurs

 

 

 

Upon the death of a loved one there are a number of decisions to be made.
The Andrew L. Hodges Funeral Home is here to help and is on call
24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days of the year.


If death occurs at home, call 911 or your family physician.

If death occurs at a care facility, such as a hospital, retirement or nursing home, the staff there will see to it that the death is pronounced by a physician.
 

  • Call the Andrew L. Hodges Funeral Home at 519-284-2820, day or night for transfer of your loved one to the funeral home and to schedule an arrangement appointment.
     
  • Please bring the following to your appointment:

      - The deceased's Social Insurance Number
      - A recent picture
      - Clothing (including undergarments and such things as glasses if worn daily)
